Ann Arbor Earth Day Festival
Celebrate the Earth at the Leslie Science and Nature Center every year! This free, family-friendly event will feature displays from 40 local environmental, nonprofit, and governmental organizations, live animal demonstrations, hands-on activities, live entertainment, green building & commuting technologies, and much more. In the true spirit of Earth Day, this festival will again be a Zero Waste event, with the help from Recycle Ann Arbor and their grant from the Ann Arbor Area Community foundation.

Halloween Treat Parade
The annual Treat Parade in downtown Ann Arbor will be trooping down the streets on Halloween night.
Area merchants will welcome your little costumed characters to their neighborhood with greets and treats. Black and orange balloons will fly from participating businesses. The Ann Arbor District Library will also be hosting a Halloween party that will feature stories, puppets, and trick-or-treats.

Get your racing shoes and head to Hudson Mills Metropark for a 5K, 10K , or a mile fun run. For those who want the full turkey, try out the Iron Turkey challenge -- run both the 5K and 10K races!
